Today, I received the biggest item in my Puppet Master collection and probably the best gift I’ve ever gotten in my life. Rick Phares, former head of Full Moon Toys and currently heading Full Moon’s upcoming collectible line, just sent me the original prototype Blade action figure. This was the exact figure featured in toy magazines, print ads, and the two Puppet Master toy commercials. It is amazing to compare this to the final released figure and note the differences, like the different hair or the hat, and the velcro-front coat. On an even more personal note, Blade was the most sought after toy of my entire childhood. I am absolutely speechless.

I think Blumhouse really shot themselves in the foot taking so long to gear up an actual Five Nights at Freddy’s movie while these films were coming out to fill that void in the meantime.
